Hospitalization
All rooms are private wards equipped with bath and toilet with an emphasis on privacy and livability. Four types of room are available, from 21 sq meters standard room to 60 sq meters room that the drawing room equipped.
Refrigerator, DVD compatible Blu-ray built-in TV and internet environment are equipped in every room. Among the careful nursing system and these equipment, you can spend your hospital stay with the sense of being in a hotel room.
Highly advanced Medical Devices
PET-CT
This state-of-the-art device that captures two images simultaneously by positron emission tomography (PET) to look into the presence or absence of a lesion, and computed tomography (CT) to locate the lesion, is a vital tool for comprehensive cancer screening. It is effective for prompt treatment planning, as it detects the presence or absence of cancer, its location, metastasis, size, etc. in one scanning of the body.
3.0 Tesla MRI
MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging) is non- invasive and produces images of the whole body’s anatomy including internal organs, joints and blood vessels without exposing you to radiation. It is a human-friendly technology that uses powerful magnets and radio waves to turn weak signals from the human body into images through computer technology. The measurement of these signals is proportional to the strength of the magnets (the magnetic field), which uses the Tesla as a unit. Sanno Medical Center has installed two MRIs, one with 1.5 Tesla, and one with 3.0 Tesla which is currently the highest in Japan.
80 detector row Multislice CT
This device generates tomographic images of a human body at a width of 0.5 mm. As the scanning procedure takes only seconds, it produces higher-resolution tomographic images of moving organs that have been considered difficult until now. Radiation exposure is reduced compared to conventional models.
Digital Mammography
Compared with conventional film mammography, digital mammography reduces the radiation dosage. As electronic images of the breasts are directly stored in a computer, the data can be processed, allowing radiologists to use software to interpret the radiogram for a more precise diagnosis.
Restaurant Aube
Restaurant Aube at Sanno Medical Center is on the top floor (Level 8). Experienced kitchen staff offer meals using seasonal ingredients. Among the comfortable atmosphere, please enjoy a relaxed moments of your meals and chatting. At the time of medical checkup, as outpatient, visit inpatient, or simply come for the purpose of lunch and dinner, we welcome you in any time. Private room is also available. (no extra charge but reservation needed)
