Information about the Executive Health Program (complete physical examination) and checkup
The Health Evaluation and Promotion Center, headed by Dr. Masayoshi Harigai, Director of Sanno Medical Center, is a complete medical checkup center used by 20,000 people each year. With state-of-the-art medical devices and equipment, experienced specialists carry out comprehensive examinations and evaluations based on test data, and provide appropriate advice on primary prevention in order to build even healthier bodies. When secondary tests or treatments are required as a result of the checkup, each specialist will take responsibility for medical treatment in collaboration with Sanno Medical Center and Sanno Hospital.

One Day Course

1.Standard Course

This course provides basic examinations including a chest and abdominal CT scan, for a comprehensive physical screening in about half a day. You can add optional tests to have a more comprehensive checkup.

2.Standard Course (with Gynecological Testing)

This course incorporates tests essential for women’s health into the Standard Course. It includes breast cancer screening (mammogram and breast ultrasound) and cervical cancer screening (cervical cytology (Pap smear) and a transvaginal ultrasound).

3.Standard Course (with Brain Checkup)

This course provides a head MRI/ MRA, a carotid artery ultrasound, and a brain diagnosis in addition to the Standard Course.

4.Special Course

This is the most comprehensive course, covering all the tests that can be done in a day. It provides a pelvic CT, neck CT, carotid artery ultrasound, echocardiogram, PWV/ABI (pulse wave velocity/ankle-brachial index), gastroendoscopy, comprehensive tumor marker tests and bone density test with DXA scan in addition to the Standard course. You can further enhance the course by adding a head MRI/MRA, and a brain diagnosis with additional cos.

Solo Course

1.PET-CT Solo Course

This is the course for those who have recently undergone complete physical checkup and would like to add a PET-CT scan only.

Multi Day Courses

Two-day Standard Course

This course offers an OGTT (oral glucose tolerance test) which tests for diabetes in addition to the One-day Special Course and allows you to stay overnight.

Two-day Special Course (with Colonoscopy and Brain Checkup)

This course provides a thyroid ultrasound, bladder ultrasound, a colonoscopy to test for colorectal cancer (which is on the rise among cancers), and other lower gastrointestinal diseases. It also provides a brain checkup (head MRI/ MRA, carotid artery ultrasound and brain diagnosis) in addition to the Two day Standard course. This course offers the most complete testing in two days.

Three-day Executive Course

This special course offers almost all the tests available at the Center, including a PET-CT scan, upper abdominal MRI/MRCP, and a pelvic (lower abdominal) MRI.

Premium Brain Checkup

In addition to evaluating images of the brain and cerebral blood vessels scanned by the latest 3.0 tesla MRI, this course also involves an assessment of cognitive functions through an oral test and a neuro test of the whole body.
This course is most suitable for those who are concerned about their brain, or those who would like to consult about concerns regarding strokes, dementia, etc., and those who seek advice from a specialist. This course has approximately 60 minutes of consultation time (including the time for assessment).
