Overview

The Center, headed by Dr. Kimiya Shimizu (Professor Emeritus of Kitasato University), a worldwide authority on refractive and cataract surgery, provides comprehensive ophthalmic consultations not only for cataracts and refractive corrections, but also for glaucoma, retinal diseases, and ptosis. We use the Implantable Collamer® Lens (the ICL KS-AquaPORT), developed by Dr. Shimizu and used in over 70 countries worldwide, for refractive surgery.
